Your data

Waymark has no advertising, no analytics and no third-party trackers of any kind. Health data is never used for advertising and is never sold.

Waymark does not request background location permission and does not have it, so it cannot read your location when the app is closed. While you are recording, it follows you to draw the route. It also checks your position once when you open the nearby-routes tab or download an offline map, because both screens need to know where you are to answer their own question.
